The needs of the estimated 200,000 Malians who have been internally displaced – most of them for six months or more – are still not being met. RI's recent mission found that the vast majority of IDPs have fled to urban areas, where they live not in camps, but with extended family members. Their growing needs and vulnerabilities remain largely hidden from view.
