The few UN agencies and international NGOs that are assisting the CAR refugees in southern Chad include UNHCR, the World Food Program (WFP), Medicins sans Frontieres, COOPI, Africare, Care, a small fraction of the agencies working with Darfur refugees in eastern Chad. Most of the refugees and the aid workers here feel that southern Chad is forgotten, with very few visits and aid arriving at a snail’s pace.
