Initiate a Wire Transfer

Make an ACH contribution to Refugees International efficiently and securely using any of our website donation forms. Or, contact Bekah Meyerowitz at bmeyerowitz@refugeesinternational.org for account details to initiate a transfer from your bank or account holder.

Please make sure to notify Refugees International of incoming wire transfers so that we can properly credit you for your gift and provide a tax receipt. Wire transfers may not include donor names or contact information. Unidentifiable gifts without donor information may be marked as “Anonymous.”

Make a Stock Gift

Many people choose to give stocks, securities, or mutual funds instead of cash. Giving appreciated assets like these help you avoid paying capital gains taxes, and can give you an income tax deduction for the full value of the gift, if you’ve had the assets for more than one year. Make an immediate impact on our mission while receiving tax-smart benefits that allow you to make the most of your gift.

Give Through a Donor-Advised Fund

A Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) is a charitable savings account that provides a flexible, convenient, and tax-smart way to support causes you care about while simplifying the process of giving to multiple charities. If you have a donor-advised fund, you can recommend a grant directly to Refugees International from your DAF using the widget below. Or, send our EIN: 52-1224516 to your account holder today.

Are you a DAF holder? DAFs include but are not limited to Fidelity Charitable, Daffy, Charityvest, Vanguard Charitable, DAFGiving360 (formerly Schwab Charitable), National Philanthropic Trust, Jewish Communal Fund, UBS, etc.

Give Through Your IRA

If you are 70 ½ years of age or older, you can support our mission while earning tax-benefits by making a donation from your Individual Retirement Account (IRA).

You may donate up to $105,000 annually from your IRA directly to your favorite non-profit organizations without paying any income taxes. Also known as an IRA Charitable Rollover or Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD), this giving option can also satisfy your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) in part or in full.

Ask your IRA administrator or visit their website to learn more about how to make a qualified charitable distribution directly to Refugees International from your IRA.

Make a Workplace Gift

Talk to your employer about workplace giving options! Programs and offerings vary by workplace, but many employers allow employees to set up automatic monthly payroll deductions for a simple, hands-off way to support our mission all year round. You may even receive workplace benefits for charitable giving!

Many employers will also match an employee’s gift to qualified 501(c)3 organizations like Refugees International. If you have made a gift of any size to Refugees International, your employer could match that donation to multiply your impact.

Federal employees and retirees can support Refugees International through the Consolidated Federal Campaign (CFC) – the Federal workplace giving campaign. Make a CFC donation through payroll deduction or through your retiree annuity, giving a little each pay period and supporting our mission all year long.
