Refugees International 2024 Virtual Town Hall
This year has had no shortage of massive crises that have thrust people worldwide into displacement and toward unknown journeys to seek refuge. But there were bright spots too: displaced people are increasingly taking seats at global decision making tables, and local groups are rising up to show the world what innovative humanitarian response can look like in their communities.
Refugees International leadership and staff reflected on the last year of our advocacy and action, preview our new strategic vision, and share key priorities for the year ahead.
Speakers:
Jeremy Konyndyk, President of Refugees International
Daniel P. Sullivan, Director for Africa, Asia, and the Middle East
Kate Brick, Executive Director of the Refugee Advocacy Lab and Senior Adviser
Yael Schacher, Director for the Americas and Europe
Nicholas Noe, Senior Visiting Fellow
Abdullahi Halakhe, Senior Advocate for East and Southern Africa
Hourie Tafech, Director for Refugee Leadership and Partnerships
